I adore the spontaneity and controlled chaos of a family session.  This is one of my favorite images from my time with the Lyons last week.  It’s a perfect example of why I love photographing kids.  I think I ended up with at least 35 shots of the 3 kids on the bench.  In every one but this one, something wasn’t right.  You couldn’t see Jeremiah’s face.  Peyton was running away.  Tanner had some kind of crazy expression.  But then there was this one, and it was perfectly imperfect, and I loved it.

Today I’m thrilled to announce that my books are now open for Class of 2011 Senior Ladies!  If you are a senior girl and looking for a senior portrait experience that’s super fabulous and not-so-typical, contact me here and we will chat about setting up a session.  I can’t wait to meet you!

And now, The Most Photogenic Girl On The Planet Award goes to… my sweet friend Blake, Class of 2011!!  As evidenced by the following images, not only is she ridiculously gorgeous, but she has the sweetest heart too.  Just love her.

P.S.  For all you aspiring models out there, I suggest investing some time in watching America’s Next Top Model…It worked for Blake, it just might work for you too.  :)

These senior girls are SO fortunate to bypass the typical staged, artificial senior photos and instead have gorgeous, unique, and authentic photos that actually capture this season of their lives!
